Unable to create an account.
This is what happens: when I register an account, I get a confirmation email. After I click on the link in the confirmation email, the site responds with the error 'account already active'. However, when trying to login the error message appears 'This account is not valid. Go to your email address and follow the link to activate your account'.

Why not also include www.filecart.com a different site; submission on FileCart.com is painless and instant (unlike www.file-cart.com with a hyphen).

Please make sure that you are using a correct activation link, i.e. that it has not been cut/wrapped/modified by your email client. If you copy and paste the link, please make sure that you copy and paste it without any leading or trailing spaces or html tags. Please try to request an activation link again using the following form: www.file-cart.com/Resend-Confirmation-Email.html.
